If in Japan look out for Rob Judges in Tokyo. I met Rob many years ago in Toronto, I knew he was an artist as a friend of mine owned one of his paintings but I must say it was socially that we became acquainted; I used to go to his legendary Hot Times parties. Rob moved to Japan many years ago (on a personal note, it was me who introduced him to his lovely lady), and has obviously been working on his art a lot as he has been having solo shows and been featured in magazines like Tokion. He is obviously still involved with music as he also djs at Le Baron Japan amongst other places. I like his style of paining and illustration, it’s optimistic and what the French call “ludique”.
