The fairly new Nike store in the Marais is the first Sportswear store in France. There are two Training stores in the city, one in the Champs-Élysées and another one in Bastille.
The store was designed by the Nike Brand Design Team borrowing from traditional codes of the Nike brand and restoring and keeping elements from what the original location used to be, a Jewish library. The display fitting are inspired by gymnastic equipment. and the in house team also commissioned famous French Illustrators Antoine+Manuel to do a Paris landscape combined with sports clothing, and Nike icons in illustrations for the walls. Though Nike is synonymous to sports let’s not forget that the brand is also a popular with people whom are into street style, and whom favor collecting special edition sneakers. These collectible editions will now be also available at the store as well as the Nike iD Studio to customize your product on the spot, which is something many companies are implementing at the moment; making the product more special for the customer by having the sense that you have one of a kind.
