I met Lara Stone years ago on a couple of stopovers she made in Toronto on her way to Cuba. I remember one night involved Whiskey-Colas and a MacDonald’s drive through while in a cab. That was then, now she is the fashion world favorite.
Being a Carine Roitfeld and Riccardo Tisci darling goes a very long way; by model standards she is probably the only one who can get away with being a size US 6 and not be considered a “shoe model”, a term coined by a funnyfriend of mine.

Is it possible that she will pave the way for fuller size figures on the runway or is she a special case? Keep tuned!
