A video from the night of the fall of the Berlin Wall

Rather than focusing on the modern coverage of the Berlin Wall fall that is happening at the moment let’s let’s watch a vintage video of the historic day when the division between east and west was symbolically taken down. I chose a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation video as Peter Mansbridge is a great anchor and the fact that the video looks so vintage even though it was only 20 years ago, but as Winston Churchill once said: “The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you can see“.
