The Coop Himmelb(l)au light wall was part of the Betsky-curated exhibition “Out There: Architecture Beyond Building” in the Arsenale for the Venice 2008 Biennale. There were signature installations by branded global architects such as Zaha Hadid, Frank Gehry, and of course Coop Himmelblau, as well as by emerging and polemic designers such as Philippe Rahn, An Te Liu, MVRDV, and others.
The exhibition explored an array of digital media, fabrication technologies, and construction.
