Marcel Wanders est né en 1963 aux Pays Bas et a fait l’école d’Art de Arnhem.
Il a dessiné des objets pour de grand noms du design contemporain : Moroso, Flos, Boffi, Cappellini, Droog Design and Moooi
Il a créé pour Baccarat des grands vases, très brutes, très masculins. Les vases créés pour le lancement avec socles en marbre, pièces uniques, ne sont pas encore commercialisables, mais vu la demande, ça pourrait venir!
Il a aussi dessiné une ligne oenologique et une famille de daims porte soliflores.
