Merchandising - TOPSHOP NYC

The much awaited and delayed arrival of the Topshop NYC store has finally happened. Kate Moss, their number one celebrity designer was at hand with Sir Philip Green to create a media frenzy. We are talking about confetti box appearances, two parties, VIP shopping events, long line-ups to enter the store and all the right editorial exposure and guests.
As you can see the store is very colourful, the merchandising heavy handed- so many pieces in one place- and yes there is plenty of designer inspired trendy peices to keep all happy (and shopping).
Now the question is why is there Topshop in Spain, but not in France? Anyone know?
